Jobs at Tesla Gigafactory and Design Center in Berlin-Brandenburg

If you are looking for a new job in Germany, there are several open positions in IT, Engineering, Manufacturing and HR at the planned Tesla Gigafactory and Design and Development Center in Berlin-Brandenburg area.

Tesla Gigafactory

As announced in November 2019 by CEO Elon Musk, Tesla will be building it's next Gigafactory close to Berlin, in the town of Gruenheide (Mark) in the Brandenburg state in Germany. The construction is already underway and production at the plant is expected to start in late 2021. The factory is expected to produce batteries, battery packs and powertrains for use in Tesla vehicles, and also assemble the Tesla Model Y. The Gigafactory alone is expected to produce around 7000 new jobs.

Tesla Design and Development Center

Moreover, Tesla is also planning to open a new design and development center in Berlin. The center will be located at the EUREF Campus in the Schoeneberg district of Berlin. Given Germany's expertise in automotive design and engineering, the new design center will help attract local talent.

Hiring for the new factory and for the design and development center has already started across several departments including Information Technology, Manufacturing, HR and Supply Chain.
